Question

I shared my referral link for Microsoft reward to a friend, using which he tried to sign in but got error
"We couldn't find a Microsoft account. Try entering your details again, or create an account."

He already has created the account and has signed in still shows the error.
though he is using his company id "@company.com" is that the issue ?

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. I understand that you encountered an issue with the referral.

If a work email is being used, you can link your accounts provided that the Account Linking setting must be turned on by the administrator of your work or school account and you can also refer to the link below for this information.

If this cannot be done, you will encounter this issue with regards to the points and the referral as well.
