I have in my Mac Microsoft Office Mac 2011 and I need to update it so it allows me to edit and save in Excel

    Version 14.7.7 released in September of 2017 was the final update of Office 2011. There are no further updates to that edition of Mac Office.

    Mainstream support for Mac Office 2011 was discontinued in October of that same year. Additionally, it is not compatible with any currently supported versions of macOS.

    It would be necessary to upgrade to the current release of Mac Office [Office 2024] or a Microsoft 365 Subscription, but it depends on the version of macOS compatible with the Mac. Neither may be possible due to industry changes in hardware & software requirements.
