Accidentally deleted my primary Hotmail alias. Is it possible to recover it?

I accidentally removed my primary alias zb********@hotmail.com** from my Microsoft account.

Before removing it, I created another primary alias as required by Microsoft.

After removing the Hotmail alias, I realized I could not add it back. I was only able to create an Outlook.com alias.
I did add the same username but misread and it's outlook.com now... but i need the hotmail one not the outlook.

Now:

• Sending email to zb********@hotmail.com** returns "Address not found".
• Trying to register zb********@hotmail.com** as a new account says "That username is already taken."
• I still have access to my Microsoft account.

Is there any way to restore the deleted Hotmail alias, or is it permanently reserved?

Sure! But can i request a support to verify that this was my initial email , and somehow so all emails from @hotlmail.com? would redirected to @outlook.com? Because i was in a rush and made a mistake , shortly after i realised that it's not only just an update of email. I was convinced that it might somehow syncronize between hotmail and outlook. Not the smartest conclusion but still.

Unfortunately once a hotmail address is removed, it is not possible to add back or recover. I am so sorry.

Under the section "Remove an email address", it says: "Are you sure? If you remove an alias that's an email address from a Microsoft domain (like @hotmail.com, @live.com, @outlook.com, or @msn.com), you're permanently deleting the alias and it can't be associated with any Microsoft account again."
