Trusted Signing identity validation stuck "In Progress" for 2 weeks (Public/organization)

Our Trusted Signing identity validation has been stuck on In Progress for ~2 weeks, well past the stated 3–7 business day SLA. No email, no request for more info, no status change.

This is about the Trusted Signing account identity validation — NOT code-signing a file or e-signatures.

Account details:

  • Trusted Signing account: P1DriveLLC
  • Resource group: P1
  • Region: East US
  • Subscription ID: 162704d4-793e-4c98-a248-16e58e182dde
  • Organization: P1 Software LC
  • Identity type: Public
  • Status: In Progress (~2 weeks, no movement)

Question: Can the Trusted Signing team review and advance this validation, or tell me what's blocking it? Is there a pending action on my side (e.g., an email verification I didn't receive)?

    Hello @Luca Levivne

Since the stated validation timeframe has already passed, this is likely not something that can be resolved from your side without Microsoft reviewing the request.

I'd recommend checking the following first:

Verify that no emails from Microsoft (including your Spam/Junk folder) are awaiting additional identity verification or documentation.

Confirm that the organization details submitted (legal business name, address, and domain) exactly match your official registration records.

Ensure your Azure subscription is active and that you have the required permissions (Owner or Contributor) on the Trusted Signing resource.

If the status has remained "In Progress" for approximately two weeks with no requests for additional information, I'd recommend opening an Azure Support request. Include the Trusted Signing account name, subscription ID, region, UTC timestamps, and mention that the validation has exceeded the published processing window so the Trusted Signing team can investigate the backend validation status.

    For reference:

    Trusted Signing overview: https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/trusted-signing/overview

Identity validation for Trusted Signing: https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/trusted-signing/concept-identity-validation

Create an Azure support request: https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request

Since this involves Microsoft's identity verification workflow, only the Trusted Signing support team can determine whether the validation is pending, blocked, or requires additional information. They should also be able to advise if any action is needed from your organization.
