    Hi Barry O'Kane

I understand that you are trying to remove items from OneDrive because they are still consuming storage, but OneDrive reports "unable to delete" when you select "Delete all" or "Empty folder".

    First, could you provide:

    • Whether you are using a personal Microsoft account.
    • Whether the folders are stored in OneDrive or in Outlook.com mail folders such as Archive and Deleted Items.
    • The exact error message shown when you attempt to delete them.

This information will help determine the appropriate next troubleshooting steps.

In the meantime, please sign in to OneDrive on the web and check whether the items are present in the Recycle Bin:

    1. Open OneDrive online.
    2. Select "Recycle Bin" from the left pane.
    3. Choose "Empty recycle bin".
    4. Wait a few minutes and then check your storage usage again.
