I have a Dell laptop that runs Windows 10. S Mode has been a problem for 2 years now. I was able to get rid of it by using the advanced restart. However after I had restarted my computer for a different reason it came back. I cannot turn it off in the App Store at all. I already tried clearing the cash it did not work. I have two accounts one personal one a work or school account. I see people saying that I should ask my it person however I am not sure how to do that. I got this computer from a giveaway from a Boys and Girls Club. I am on my wits in and I have no idea what to do.

    Hi, good day!

I'd first recommend temporarily removing the work or school account by going to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school, selecting the account, and choosing Disconnect. Restart your computer afterward and try switching out of S Mode again.

If the Microsoft Store still doesn't let you switch out of S Mode, try repairing or resetting the Microsoft Store:

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features (or Installed apps).

Select Microsoft Store > Advanced options.

Click Repair first. If that doesn't help, click Reset.

Restart your computer and try switching out of S Mode again.

I look forward to your update and am willing to collaborate with you until we resolve the issue. Keep me posted by clicking "Add comments" below.
