Trouble setting up account on Authenticator App

While trying to setup my work account on Microsoft authenticator app, it is asking for "the code displayed on the authenticator app". But I don't have it since I am trying to set up the authenticator app in the first place. Due to this I am unable to access any of features like teams, Outlook etc. of my work account.

    Go here and login to your work account https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info

    If you can't, what error message comes up.

    Has your business account got an Admin?
