browser doesnt fit the screen

My browser doesnt fit my screen. on the right and left side it stops about 2 inches before it should

I have made sure its at 100%. i have maximized the browser screen, and I have tried stretching the screen and none of this has worked. I believe I caused this problem myself when I was fiddling around in settings one night as I was trying to understand what some of the browser options did. you live and you learn!!

Are you saying when you maximize the browser there's still space around it, or are you saying some content of the browser was cut off?

Is this a desktop with an external monitor? If so, what's your monitor brand and model? This can be due to settings on the monitor's local menu, see if you can find menu item related to display, ratio, etc. This is the menu you access via the monitor's own menu button, not via Windows settings.
