Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Daniel O'C,
I understand your frustration, as reordering email accounts should ideally be a simple display preference without requiring you to change the primary account.
Currently, New Outlook for Windows allows you to reorder folders, but it does not provide a separate option to rearrange the email accounts themselves. Setting an account as primary may place it at the top, but the primary account can also control certain app-wide settings, so this may not be a suitable workaround for everyone. Change the order of folders in the Folder Pane in Outlook

I recommend submitting your suggestion through the Feedback Portal and requesting a separate drag-and-drop option to reorder accounts without changing the primary account.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
