Good day everyone,

I have a Personal Microsoft 365 account i can't get logged into due to the number that was used for verification not being active anymore and the email is not setup anywhere so can't verify that way either.

Is there anyone that knows what can be done or what steps to follow?

Kind Regards.

If the old phone number is no longer active and the email verification method is not accessible, use the account recovery path.

    1. Start sign-in to the Microsoft account.
    2. At the Verify your identity prompt, select I don't have any of these.
    3. Follow the prompts to replace the security info.
    4. After the security info is replaced, there is a 30-day wait before sign-in is allowed.

If the password is also not known, use the account recovery form instead:

    1. Review the guidance in Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
    2. Submit the request through Recover account.

If access still cannot be restored, use the Sign-in helper or Contact Microsoft Support. Support agents cannot send verification codes or directly change account details.

Important: do not change all security info at the same time unless necessary, because the account may be restricted for 30 days.
