The best option is to completely uninstall your printer and restart your PC, then go to the support page for your printer on the manufacturers website to download and install the version of printer drivers, firmware and associated software they provide for your printer.

If that does not resolve the problem, open the old Control Panel.
At the top of the old Control Panel, set View to large icons.
Open the 'Programs and Features' applet.
Click 'Turn Windows Features on or off' on the left side.
In the resulting list, un-check 'Microsoft Print to PDF' and apply that.
Restart (not shut down) your PC, then go back into that setting and re-enable @Microsoft Print to PDF'.
