I used an email not associated with a Microsoft account to sign up for a virtual training day. Will I still be able to get the 50 percent off voucher?

I just did a training day for AZ-900, but to sign up for it I used a different email, not associated with my Microsoft account. So how do I get the 50 percent off voucher now? Do I just create a Microsoft account with the email I signed up with and check out with that account to apply the discount?

I followed those instructions and my discount is not showing up. Is it supposed to take a few days? Will it work if I created my account after I signed up for the exam? I created the account with that email after I registered for the training and took the training

I believe the Learn profile needed to exist when signing up for the event so that the voucher could be assigned, try Microsoft Credentials support https://aka.ms/credentials-support
