Unable to Access My Existing Microsoft Dynamics Community Profile

Hello Microsoft Support,

I hope you are doing well.

I am experiencing an issue with my Microsoft Community profile.

I previously had a Microsoft Community account associated with my email address [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]@gmail.com and my profile name [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed].

Recently, I signed in to the Microsoft Community using the same email address, but instead of signing me into my existing profile, a completely new profile was created automatically.

I still have a link to my original profile from before: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

When I open this link, my original profile is still there, but it is no longer associated with my account when I sign in despite using the same email address it was initially registered with. My previous profile contains my achievements, activity history, and contributions, and I would like to continue using that profile rather than the newly created one.

Could you please investigate why my original profile is no longer linked to my Microsoft account and help restore access to it? I would like my existing profile, along with all of its achievements and history, to be re-associated with my email address.

Please let me know if you need any additional information to verify ownership of the account.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your help in resolving this issue.

Kind regards,

Shweta

    Hello @Shweta Shukla

First, one important point that you have already confirmed is that you are signing in with the same account. Based on that information, I tested using my own account by signing in to both communities, and the results were as follows:

For the current forum where you posted this question: Questions - Microsoft Q&A

    User's image

    User's image

However, when I sign in to the Microsoft Dynamics Community using the same account, the achievements section is completely empty. This is expected in my case because I have not participated in any activities or completed any learning courses within that community.

    User's image

    User's image

This suggests that achievements and activity history are tracked separately for each community. On the Microsoft Dynamics Community, you may be an active member with many contributions and achievements. Those records are maintained within that specific community and are not automatically combined with the achievements or activity history from this forum.

I hope my understanding matches your situation. If not, please feel free to reach out again with additional details, and I will be happy to take another look and help investigate further.

If you are interested, you can also become more active in this forum and earn additional achievements here as well.

    Have a great day!
