I am requesting urgent intervention regarding a severe scheduling failure by Microsoft vendor, Pearson VUE Accommodations Team.
I have been actively trying to schedule the AZ-500 exam with my approved accommodations since June 18. Despite my continuous follow ups and flexibility, Pearson VUE has failed to provide a confirmed booking. They have confirmed dates verbally and in writing, only to retract them weeks later, leaving me with no scheduled exam.
The AZ-500 exam is retiring at the end of August. I initiated this process over 40 days ago specifically to have enough time to test and potentially retake if needed. Pearson's complete mishandling of this case has now eliminated that buffer and is actively preventing me from taking this exam before retirement.
I am ready to provide my Candidate ID, Invoice Number, and the PDF evidence of all communications in a Private Message.
I need Microsoft to intervene immediately to force Pearson VUE to issue a booking confirmation between 5 to 12 of August. If Pearson is incapable of fulfilling this accommodation request before the 12 Aug, I want to request a replacement voucher for the successor exam (AC-500) due to this vendor failure.
Thank you

I'm sorry you're experiencing this, especially with the AZ-500 retirement date approaching. Based on your description, it appears you've made a good-faith effort to schedule your exam well in advance, and the repeated scheduling issues may now affect your ability to test before the exam retires.
Unfortunately, Microsoft Community members and moderators can't directly schedule exams, issue vouchers, or require Pearson VUE to provide an appointment. However, here are some steps that may help move your case forward.
Step 1: Contact Pearson VUE Candidate Services
Request that your case be escalated to:
• A supervisor.
• The Pearson VUE Accommodations Team (if your approved accommodations are involved).
Ask for:
• A case/reference number.
• Written confirmation of any scheduling decisions.
• The name or ID of the representative (if available).
Step 2: Contact Microsoft Credentials Support
Explain the following:
• Your testing accommodations were approved.
• You began trying to schedule the exam more than 40 days before the retirement date.
• Pearson VUE confirmed appointment dates that were later withdrawn.
• The delays are outside of your control and may prevent you from taking the exam before it retires.
Request that Microsoft review your case and determine whether any scheduling assistance or other available options may be appropriate based on the documented circumstances.
Step 3: Organize your documentation
Have the following ready:
• Candidate ID
• Registration or invoice number
• Pearson VUE case number(s)
• Accommodation approval documentation
• Appointment confirmation and cancellation emails
• A timeline showing your communications with Pearson VUE and Microsoft
Having everything organized will help support review your case more efficiently.
Step 4: Keep a record of all communication
Continue documenting:
• Dates and times of phone calls
• Representative names or IDs (when available)
• Case numbers
• Emails received
• Any commitments or scheduling updates provided
Step 5: Protect your personal information
Avoid posting your:
• Candidate ID
• Invoice number
• Email address
• Accommodation documents
• PDFs or screenshots containing personal information
Only provide those through an official Microsoft or Pearson VUE support channel if requested.
I hope your case is reviewed promptly and that you're able to complete your certification before the retirement date. Wishing you the very best, and I hope this is resolved for you soon.
