Unable to Access My Microsoft Email Accounts Due to Repeated Verification Loop

Dear Microsoft Support,

I am experiencing a serious issue accessing my Microsoft email accounts.

Whenever I try to sign in, I am repeatedly asked to verify my identity. I have completed all the verification methods requested, including entering my phone number, receiving and entering the verification code, and following every step provided by Microsoft. However, after completing the process, I am redirected back to the same verification page and asked to repeat the same steps again. This creates an endless verification loop, preventing me from accessing any of my email accounts.

I urgently need access to my email accounts , as they contain important personal and professional information.

This issue affects all of my Microsoft email accounts, not just one account

I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible. Please let me know if you require any additional information to verify my identity or restore access to my accounts.

Thank you for your time and support.

Kind regards,

    Hi salma youssief,

Please note that our Microsoft Q&A forum is a public platform, and we will modify your response/ question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

I understand that you are unable to access your Microsoft email accounts because, after completing the verification process and entering the code sent to your phone, you are redirected back to the same verification page and become stuck in a continuous verification loop. I also understand that this issue affects multiple Microsoft accounts rather than a single account.

Given that the verification codes are being received and accepted, the issue may be related to the authentication session not completing successfully after verification. To help isolate the cause, please try the following:

    1. Sign in using an InPrivate/Incognito browser window.
    2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, especially those related to Microsoft services.
    3. Try a different browser (Microsoft Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.).
    4. Disable any VPN, proxy, or network filtering services and attempt the sign-in again.
    5. Test from a different device and, if possible, a different internet connection.
    6. If the issue persists, complete the Microsoft Account Recovery form at https://account.live.com/acsr. This can help if additional account security checks are preventing successful sign-in.

Since the issue impacts multiple accounts and occurs after successful verification, it may also be related to a temporary account protection or authentication service issue that requires further investigation.

If the problem continues, please provide the following information:

    • Whether the issue occurs in multiple browsers and devices.
    • Whether you are using a VPN or proxy service.
    • The approximate date and time the issue began.

This information will help narrow down whether the issue is browser-related, network-related, or requires escalation for account authentication review.
