An organization in the Dominican Republic has invited me to "redeem" to join their organization and I can't delete it from account in Teams. How do I delete this? All the existing Microsoft support articles on this don't link to an answer. I am on a Mac/iPhone.

    Hi Chris H,

I understand your concern about an unfamiliar organization invitation appearing in Teams. Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors cannot access or remove invitations from your account.

Since the organization shows Redeem, it appears to be an invitation that has not been accepted. Do not select Redeem or provide any account information.

Teams Free provides a Leave option for organizations that have already been joined, but that process does not apply to a pending invitation. Leave a work or school organization in Microsoft Teams Free.

If Teams does not provide a dismiss, decline, or remove option, use Contact support near the end of Microsoft Teams Free help while signed in with the affected personal Microsoft account. The help page specifically provides Contact support for issues not covered by its help topics.

In the support request, provide the following description: “An unfamiliar organization invitation appears in my Teams Free account with a Redeem option. I have not redeemed or accepted the invitation, and Teams does not provide an option to dismiss, decline, or remove it on my Mac or iPhone. Please review the pending invitation and help remove it from my Teams Free consumer profile.”

You may also attach a screenshot showing the organization and the Redeem option, but conceal your email address and any other personal information before submitting it.

I hope Teams support can help remove the unsolicited invitation from your account safely.
