Sharepoint document keeps jumping to the top every time I use "command+c"

Hello,

I am working on a long document in Word Sharepoint (I use Safari on MacBook Air).

While editing the document I often use copy-paste. However, when I select a sentence and use Command+C to copy it, the document jumps to the top immediately. I then have to scroll down and look for the part I was editing, which is very time consuming.

Please help me address this issue.

Thanks

Hi Py,

Based on your sharing, I suspect that this could be a Safari browser issue, not a problem with your document. Safari may have cached site data or some extensions which may cause the web app to behave incorrectly.

Therefore, you can try clearing the cached data and disable extensions temporarily to see if it works:

  • On the top left of Safari, select Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data...
  • Select Remove All > Done
  • After finished, go to Safari > Settings > Extensions
  • Temporarily turn off any extensions like content blockers, grammar tools, etc., then reload the SharePoint document and test Command + C again

You can give it a try and let me know whether it works. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out again in the comments on this post. I'm happy to assist you further

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. I'm looking forward to your reply.
