How do I add my HP 8028 scanner capability to my laptop

    To use the scanner, install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.

    • Open the Microsoft Store and search for "HP Smart."
    • Install it and open the app.
    • Select "Add printer" and choose your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028.
    • Once connected, select "Scan" from the HP Smart home screen.

    Make sure the printer and laptop are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

    1. Can your laptop already print to the HP 8028?
    2. Does HP Smart detect the printer, or does it show an error?
