Dear Microsoft Support,
Please find attached a technical incident report regarding an activation problem with my perpetual Office Home & Business 2019 for Mac license.
Although the license remains correctly assigned to my Microsoft account and extensive troubleshooting has already been performed, every clean activation attempt fails with Unknown Error (0x0).

I would appreciate it if this case could be reviewed by an engineer who has access to the Office activation infrastructure.

You are posting in a community forum. You are not chatting with support here.
Engineers or Microsoft techs do not answer questions here. There's no escalation path from community forum to them from here either.
This issue is already publicly communicated via the article I shared with you, so it is not an issue an engineer or a tech can override or fix. They follow the same policy.

Starting July 13, 2026, Office 2019 for Mac entered reduced functionality mode because its licensing certificate can no longer be updated. Office may still open documents, but it can no longer activate for editing, saving, or creating files. The 0x0 error is part of that activation failure.
Microsoft confirms that Office 2019 for Mac cannot be updated to the required version, and reinstalling Office 2019 will not resolve it.
The available options are:
Your existing documents are not deleted or damaged, but Office 2019 for Mac can no longer be restored to full editing mode through activation troubleshooting.
