I have Windows 11, and have just been notified that my Microsoft Word is no longer supported (inoperative). I wish to use my ongoing subscription to install Windows 365 Basic.

    If you go to your account https://account.live.com > Subscriptions, is Basic the only plan you have?

    Basic plan actually doesn't include the desktop version of office apps. So it is normal that your Word and other apps won't work. Basic plan is for 100GB OneDrive storage only. See product page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/p/microsoft-365-basic/cfq7ttc0ktxs
