Welcome Sheree Adams,
I understand how frustrating it can be when Microsoft Solitaire Collection is showing ads even though you have an active premium subscription, and the game reports a problem connecting to the Microsoft Store while Windows shows you as signed in.
Before proceeding, could you please confirm:
- Are you signed into Microsoft Solitaire Collection with the same Microsoft account that purchased the subscription?
- Does the issue occur only in Solitaire Collection, or are other Microsoft Store apps also having sign-in or license issues?
In the meantime, you can try these steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
Option 1: Verify the Microsoft Store account
- Open Microsoft Store
- Select your profile picture and make sure it shows the same Microsoft account used for the Solitaire subscription
Option 2: Refresh Store licenses
- Open Microsoft Store
- Select Library
- Click Get updates
Option 3: Sign out and back in
- Sign out of both Microsoft Store and Microsoft Solitaire Collection
- Restart the PC
- Sign back in using the subscription account
Option 4: Run the Store Apps troubleshooter
- Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters
- Run Windows Store Apps
Option 5: Reset Microsoft Store
- Press Windows + R > type
wsreset.exeand press Enter - Wait for Microsoft Store to reopen
I hope the steps above help you deal with your issue.
