Microsoft Office stopped working on my iMac

Microsoft word stopped working a few days ago on my iMac. (save, save as, etc features.)

I have Microsoft 365 that was shared with me about 6 years ago and was working fine.

Word says I am signed in, but with version 16.5.5 - I don't know where 365 subscription went on this device.

My Microsoft account shows 2 devices with Microsoft 365 installed - iMac and MacBook (The Macbook works).

Do I need to uninstall Microsoft Office and reinstall again on iMac? Or do something else?

Thanks,

Judith

Hi,

Yes, you can ask a question. Which version of iMac are you using? Because version 16.5 is no longer supported, and if you have an iMac with an OS version below 12.7.6, you won't have the Office editing and saving function.

There's an explanation here: [link to Microsoft support page].

To uninstall Office for Mac: [link to Microsoft support page].
