Installed Office 2024 on my ipad in April 2026 and it worked fine. Now the entire program seems to be missing and it won’t reinstall. Can only read and edit docs in Word & Excel

Thank you for your response. If I try to get the Microsoft Copilot app I get the same thing as Excel and Word; that my subscription has expired.

Office 2024 is a one-time license for one Windows PC or Mac. It does not include an iPad installation.
You may previously have been using the combined Microsoft 365 app. Microsoft recently changed this app, and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files are now opened and edited through their separate iPad apps.
Please check the App Store for Microsoft 365 Copilot, and also confirm that Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are installed. Let me know the exact error you receive when installing.
