Question

My ADO organization (chancleitor.visualstudio.com) was associated to a tenant that is not currently available.
I want to regain control over your azure DevOps organization. What am I supposed to do?
How can I request you to contact the azure DevOps team?

I think the org can be taken over by signing into the original Entra tenant and using the owner‑change in Azure DevOps, and when that tenant can’t be reached the supported way is sending an Azure DevOps support ticket.

The error TF24668: The following team project collection is stopped occurs because the Azure DevOps organization is associated with a Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) tenant that is no longer available or accessible. When the linked tenant cannot be reached, Azure DevOps is unable to validate organization ownership and user access, which prevents administrators from managing or accessing the organization. In such scenarios, access recovery depends on whether the original tenant is still available and whether an Azure DevOps Organization Owner can still sign in. If the tenant has been deleted, is inaccessible, or no organization owner account is available, the issue cannot be resolved through self-service and requires assistance from Microsoft Support

Refer below points to resolve this issue or use as a workaround:

1. Verify Access to the Original Tenant

If the original Microsoft Entra ID tenant is still available, sign in using an account that has Organization Owner or Azure DevOps Administrator permissions. Once signed in, verify whether the organization ownership can be managed or transferred.

2. Change the Azure DevOps Organization Directory

If you still have administrative access and the organization is linked to the wrong tenant, move the Azure DevOps organization to the correct Microsoft Entra tenant.

Steps:

Open Azure DevOps Organization Settings.

Navigate to Microsoft Entra ID settings.

Select Switch Directory.

Choose the correct target tenant.

Ensure the account performing the operation is a member of the target tenant and has sufficient permissions

If chancleitor.visualstudio.com is associated with a Microsoft Entra tenant that is no longer available, this cannot normally be resolved through standard organization settings. First, verify whether anyone still has access to the original tenant and holds the Azure DevOps Administrator directory role. That role can claim an organization only when it is orphaned - meaning the existing owner and all Project Collection Administrators are inactive

If access to the original tenant is available, sign in using the Azure DevOps Administrator account and browse to https://dev.azure.com/chancleitor. If the organization is eligible, select Claim Ownership, enter a brief justification, and complete the request. If the account is already a member of the organization, use Organization settings > Overview > Change owner instead
