Hi Christopher Zyck
I understand how stressful this must be, especially with your upcoming deadline and the concern about accessing your work. Based on my research, here's some guidance that may help:
1.Regarding your Microsoft 365 Business subscription
May I ask whether you're the Global Administrator (or Billing Administrator) for your Microsoft 365 Business account and whether you can still access the Microsoft 365 admin center?
If you are, you may still be able to renew or reactivate the subscription from the Microsoft 365 admin center. Since you mentioned that your business account is currently read-only, it's possible that the subscription has expired but can still be reactivated. For more information, please refer to:
If you encounter any issues reactivating your subscription, I'd recommend contacting Microsoft Support for further assistance: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn
If you don't have Global Administrator or Billing Administrator permissions, you'll need to contact your Microsoft 365 administrator to renew or reactivate the subscription: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? | Microsoft Support
If your Microsoft 365 Business subscription was purchased through a Microsoft partner or reseller, you'll need to contact the reseller directly for assistance with the renewal.
2.If you no longer need the Microsoft 365 Personal subscription that was purchased by mistake, you may also want to contact Microsoft Support to see whether the purchase is eligible for a refund or cancellation, depending on your purchase date and region.
You can contact Microsoft support by going to Microsoft Contact Us > Type "Support" and click Get Help > Click Sign in to contact Support at the bottom of the page. > Under products and Services, select Microsoft 365 and Office Option > Under category, select technical Support > Chat with a support agent in your web browser.
3.Regarding the Unknown Error 0x0 issue, I'd recommend referring to the following Microsoft Support article, which provides the latest information and the recommended resolution:
Unknown Error 0x0 or License not found error in Microsoft 365 or Office running on macOS | Microsof…
I also found a recent discussion where users experienced the same issue after a macOS update, which you may find helpful for additional context: 0x0 Error After Mac Update July 14th, 2026 - Microsoft Q&A
Please note that we're not Microsoft Support; this is a user-to-user community forum. Moderators here don't have access to your environment or Microsoft's backend systems, so we can only provide guidance based on public documentation and community experience.
I hope this information helps.
