Just to make sure we're looking in the right direction, does this only happen when printing Word documents? does the printer appear in Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners? Also, are you able to print from other apps, such as a PDF reader or your web browser, or does the same message appear there as well? This will help us determine whether the issue is with Microsoft Word or if Windows is not detecting the printer correctly.
