Bing Places incorrectly merged my business with another company

Hello,

I need assistance with an incorrect Bing Places listing.

My business is Tahiti Trip Fishing in French Polynesia.

Bing has incorrectly merged my business with another company called Tahiti Sport Fishing.

I have never owned, managed or been affiliated with Tahiti Sport Fishing.

However, the Bing listing displays:

  • Photos of my boat
  • Photos belonging to my business
  • Reviews from my customers

But it incorrectly shows:

  • Business name: Tahiti Sport Fishing
  • Another company's phone number
  • Another company's website
  • Another company's address

Because of this incorrect merge, I cannot create or verify the correct Bing Places listing for my business.

My official website is:

https://tahiti-trip.com

I can provide screenshots proving that the photos and reviews belong to my business while the contact information belongs to another company.

Could a Microsoft moderator please help separate these two businesses and restore the correct listing for Tahiti Trip Fishing?

Thank you.

This issue typically requires Bing Places support intervention rather than self-service changes.

Use Bing Places for Business support while signed in and request that the incorrect merged listing be separated and corrected. Include these details in the case:

    1. State that Tahiti Trip Fishing and Tahiti Sport Fishing are separate businesses.
    2. Explain that the current Bing listing is incorrectly merged.
    3. Specify which elements belong to the wrong business: business name, phone number, website, and address.
    4. Specify which elements belong to the correct business: photos of the boat, business photos, and customer reviews.
    5. Attach screenshots showing the mismatch.
    6. Ask support to keep or restore the correct listing for Tahiti Trip Fishing and remove the incorrect merge.

Support/contact paths available in the documentation:

    • For questions about adding or correcting business information, go to the Bing Places portal.
    • If signed in to Bing Places, use the support/contact option from the Bing Places experience.
    • As a fallback, open Bing Maps, find the incorrect listing, and use the feedback option at the bottom of the page to report that the listing is incorrect or merged with another business.

If access to the listing becomes available after support corrects it, business information can then be edited from Manage in the listing.
