Dear Microsoft Certification Support,

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing to request your assistance regarding my Microsoft Certification profile.

I previously had an active Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) account with the following MCP ID:

MCP ID: 6482448

Recently, I signed in through Microsoft Learn using my Microsoft account. However, I am unable to view any of my previously earned Microsoft certifications or certification history. It appears that my certification records are not associated with my current Microsoft Learn profile.

Could you please help me investigate this issue and restore or link my certification records to my current Microsoft Learn account?

If you require any additional information to verify my identity or locate my records, please let me know and I will be happy to provide it.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.

MCP/MC IDs are no longer used after the merger of Certification profiles and Learn profiles in 2024. The Microsoft Learn username is now the unique identifier, and certifications cannot be transferred by MCP ID.

    To troubleshoot missing certifications:

    1. Sign in to the correct Learn profile.
      • If multiple Learn profiles were created under different login accounts, the certifications may be under a different profile.
      • Try signing in with any other Microsoft account or work/school account that may have been used when registering for exams.
    2. Check the Learn profile areas directly.
      • Go to the Learn profile and review Transcript in the left column for exam and credential history.
      • Review Credentials in the left column, then check the Certifications tab.
    3. Confirm the credential was fully earned.
      • If a certification required multiple exams, the certificate appears only after the final required exam is passed.
    4. Review known exceptions.
      • Certifications earned through Certiport are not currently reflected in the Microsoft Learn profile.
      • Some older legacy certifications may no longer appear in customer Learn profiles.
    5. If the certifications are still missing, submit a Microsoft Credentials support request.
      • Go to the online support request.
      • Select Learning for Product family.
      • Select Microsoft Credentials for Product or Service.
      • Select Professional No Charge for Types of Support.
      • Choose Email as the contact method.
      • Include the Learn username from Learn Settings and attach screenshots if available.

    For account access issues:

    • If the old profile used a personal Microsoft account and access was lost, recovery is only through Microsoft Account Help self-service. Credentials Support cannot recover the personal account or restore profile contents.
    • If the old profile used a work or school account and access was lost, recovery must be handled by the workplace or school IT administrator.
