I am trying to sign in with the work account, @amazon.com. This is happening for smartsheet access (entire site), and some sharePoint pages.

    Hello @Kim, Jay

I understand that you are unable to access some SharePoint pages even after the page owner has granted you permission. Based on the screenshot, SharePoint is displaying the message stating that there is a legacy user account on the site with the same email address.

To better understand your situation, could you please let me know the following?

    • Does the rehire sign in with a work or school account, or as a guest user?
    • Does this happen on only a few SharePoint pages, or are they unable to access the entire SharePoint site?
    • Did this rehire user have another account with the same email address that was previously added to this SharePoint site?
    • Are other users with similar permissions able to open the same pages?

Besides, you can kindly ask the site owner or SharePoint administrator to remove the legacy user account from the site and then add your current account again to see if the issue still continue.

Looking forward to hearing from you for further assistance.
