Adding a Gmail account to Outlook for Windows (browser version)

I want to add my gmail account to outlook 365 premium -- but i need to find the rigt version first. i like Outlook for Windows (browser version) best, but I can't find it.

    Hi,

    The browser version of Outlook (Outlook on the web) cannot display a separate Gmail mailbox unless that Gmail address is itself your Microsoft account.

    New Outlook supports that - you can download it here:

    It is basically an identical app version of OWA.

    1. Open New Outlook on Windows.
    2. Select Add account.
    3. Enter your Gmail address.
    4. Sign in with Google and approve the permissions.
    5. Your Gmail mailbox will sync with Outlook.
