hello,

I recently purchase microsoft office 365. It installed correctly on my laptop. However, I have installed it on my desktop, which has Windows 11 Pro, but it keeps giving me an error message.

'We are sorry, but Excel has run into a problem that is preventing it from working correctly. Excel would need to close now. Would you like to repair?'

This is the message I keep getting anytime I open my Office 365 app. I click on Repair, but Office closes immediately after I choose Repair.

I have tried different versions of the Office app but to no avail.

I need immediate help

That quick repair option rarely resolves the problem, the best option is to perform a full online repair of your Office installation.

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Apps, then scroll down to find Microsoft Office

Select that and choose Modify - Online Repair

That should fix any issues with your Office Installation.
