I was charged for an annual subscription that I canceled. How do I obtain a refund?

Microsoft pushed an update through my laptop and my husband's laptop one day in April. Both laptops immediately rebooted and asked for a security / secret key. We input our keys and the systems wouldn't accept them. Both laptops are now completely useless because we can't do anything without the key. I want to cancel the annual subscription that was automatically charged to my card on February 18th for $138.24 and get a refund for the unused portion.

Select Microsoft 365

Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option
