I had taken an KT Session through teams meeting and recorded it but now I want to download but when I click on recap it says "Sorry, something went wrong

Sorry, you cannot access this document. Please contact the person who shared it with you."

But the meeting was scheduled by myself. I want that recording urgent.

Thanks for your confirmation, @Rutuja Paygude.

The link you provided is not a SharePoint site URL. Instead, it appears to be a OneDrive for Business (OneDrive for work or school) link, which is why the address contains a format similar to ...-my.sharepoint.com/...

Since you're the meeting organizer and the person who started the recording, please try the following steps:

    1. Check whether multiple Microsoft accounts are signed in to your browser.

    • If so, please sign out of all accounts and then access the recording link using only the account that organized the meeting and started the recording.
    • Try opening the recording in an Incognito/InPrivate browser window.
    • Sign in only with the organizer's account and test the recording link again.

    2. Check the Recordings folder in your OneDrive

    • Open OneDrive on the web using the organizer account.
    • Go to My Files.
    • Open the Recordings folder.

    User's image

    • Check whether the meeting recording is present in that folder.
    • If it is not there, please also check the Recycle Bin and Second-stage Recycle Bin.

    User's image

Please let me know the results of these checks, especially:

    • Whether the recording is visible in the Recordings folder.
    • Whether it is found in the Recycle Bin.
    • Whether the recording can be opened successfully when using an Incognito/InPrivate window with only the organizer account signed in.

Once I have those results, I'll be happy to help you investigate further and determine the next steps. I look forward to your update.

    Hello @Rutuja Paygude,

Good day! I hope you are doing well.

To help provide the most accurate and effective solution for your issue, could you share a bit more detail about your setup:

    • Could you provide a screenshot of the exact error message you receive when opening the recording?
    • Was this a regular Teams meeting, a channel meeting, or a meeting within a chat?
    • Are you the meeting organizer, the person who started the recording, or an attendee?
    • Can other participants access the recording, or is the issue affecting everyone?
    • Do you see the recording listed in the meeting recap, or is it missing entirely?
    • If you select the recording and choose "Open in browser" (if available), what location does it point to: OneDrive or SharePoint?

This additional context will help us understand your environment and the steps already taken so we can tailor the guidance to resolve the issue effectively.

I apologize if I could not jump straight to a solution. I want to avoid suggesting anything that might be inaccurate or unhelpful. Once I have the details above, I’ll be able to assist you more effectively and guide you toward the right resolution.

Looking forward to your response so we can get this sorted out for you together.
