I was in a Family group and I left, but now it still says I need permission to download or access certain sites. I am 18 and it no longer says I am in a Family group on both mine and parents computers.

    Hi,

I'd be happy to work with you on this issue. I will walk through a few steps with you. Some of these are just to help figure out what is wrong, not to fix it right away. So if nothing changes after a step, that is normal. I will keep going until we solve it.

To remove the Family restrictions, you must be on an administrator account instead of a standard account. Ensure the same.

On Microsoft Edge, go to https://aka.ms/familyverify.and verify the onscreen prompt.

    #3:

    In the Windows search,

Type cmd, right-click it, and choose Run as Administrator.

    Execute this command:

    schtasks /run /tn "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyRefreshTask"

    Restart your computer.

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.
