Managing meetings and events using Outlook on the web for business
Hi Lam,
Good day. Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
As a forum moderator, I genuinely wish I could directly access your account or review the backend systems to diagnose and resolve this issue for you. However, our role here is limited to providing general guidance by offering clear next steps, sharing applicable resources, and directing you to the appropriate support channels so you can work with the right team to investigate further.
I understand that you previously declined a calendar invite in Outlook on the web and would now like to accept it.
When a meeting invitation is declined, the original invite may be moved to the Deleted Items folder.
- Please open Outlook on the web.
- Go to Mail.
- Open the Deleted Items folder.
-
- Look for the original meeting invitation.
- Open the meeting invite.
- Select Accept or Tentative to update your response.
Please note that if the meeting invitation is no longer in the Deleted Items folder, or if the Deleted Items folder has already been emptied, you may not be able to accept the declined meeting directly from your mailbox.
- In this case, please contact the meeting organizer and ask them to forward or resend the meeting invitation to you. Once you receive the invite again, you should be able to accept it.
I hope this information is helpful. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.
