Adjust screen brightness not working.

I can scroll brightness, but the display is always at peak brightness.

    I highly recommend to update display adapter.

    Also, go to Control Panel > Power options > select your power plan and click Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings > Enable adaptive brightness > set it to Off for battery and plugged in.

    To be able to assist you better, please share a screenshot of the display adapters in Device Manager.

    1. Open "Device Manager" (Windows + X and select Device Manager);
    2. Expand "Display adapters" and take the screenshot.

    Use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.


    Also, share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

    Maximize the window and use the screenshot tool.
