Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

What is the exact error message the sender receives when they try to email to your address?

You can try sending a test email from another account of yours to the problematic email address. If you receive any bounce back error message, share the error message with us here.

Meanwhile, ensure you have enough storage space to send or receive emails -

    *

If the storage isn't full, check your Junk or SPAM email folders and see if the emails ends up there.

And, check your email forwarding rules to verify that your emails are not being forwarded to another email address.

Let me know if you still need more help

Try these steps to resolve the issue with receiving emails:

Check Storage Limit: Microsoft updated its cloud storage policy, where email attachments count toward OneDrive storage.

Go to Settings (gear icon) > General > Storage.

Ensure neither your Outlook storage nor OneDrive storage is full. If full, delete unwanted emails/files or upgrade storage.

    Check Rules & Forwarding:

Go to Settings > Mail > Rules and make sure no active rule is redirecting or deleting incoming emails.

Check Settings > Mail > Forwarding to ensure forwarding hasn't been accidentally enabled.

Check Blocked Senders & Junk Filter:

Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email and verify that safe senders aren't listed under Blocked senders and domains.

    Send a Test Email:

Try sending an email to yourself from a different account (e.g., Gmail). Check if you get a bounce-back/error message (NDR) explaining why it failed.

    Service Status & Re-authentication:

Check status.office.com to see if there is an ongoing service outage.

Try signing out and signing back in, or check if your account requires verification at account.live.com.
