Recover hotmail account

Question

Trying to sign in to my hotmail on my iPhone or MacBook , it does not give me the option to sign in using account and password only passkey , and there is not passkey , tried to add as an out lookAccount , it asks to creat a password to the account from reset your account page when I add my phone number it gave me a code and once I input the code it asks for a recovery key that I do not have ?

From your phone, there should be a text message with the recovery key. If there is none, I suggest following the steps below to recover the account:

Method 1. Recover a Microsoft account by resetting the password:
