Background not showing on multiple desktops

When I try to open multiple desktops, the desktop background image shows as a jpg preview. I have changed the desktop background to the same photo, and this does not fix the issue.

Hi,

To do this, go to the Start menu > Settings > Personalize > Background. Right-click on the background image you want to use for all virtual desktops and select "All desktops."

Thank you for the quick response! Sadly I have tried this several times. It sets the background to the image that I want, but when I toggle between desktops, the whole desktop preview shows as a jpeg preview

Hi,

If you have this application, please access the start menu > settings > apps > default apps > scroll down and select the reset option.

Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

Restart the PC and test.
