Hi jack fleming,
I understand how frustrating it can be when Outlook suddenly stops sending or receiving emails. Error 0x800CCC0E usually means Outlook cannot connect to your email server.
Please try the following:
- Sign in to your email account through a web browser to check whether the service is working.
- Close Outlook, restart your computer and internet router, then try Send/Receive All Folders again.
- In classic Outlook, select File > Account Settings > Account Settings, choose the affected account, and select Repair.
- If you recently changed your password, update the saved credentials in Outlook.
- Verify that the incoming and outgoing server settings, ports, encryption method, and authentication details match those provided by your email provider.
If the incident continues, please let us know:
- Whether this is an Outlook.com/Hotmail, Gmail/Yahoo, Microsoft 365 business, or another email account.
- Whether you can send and receive messages successfully through webmail.
Thank you for your understanding.
