how can i delete the following folders: UBF8T346G9.ms

  • UBF8T346G9.Office
  • UBF8T346G9.OfficeOsfWebHost

    In the Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking on the Go menu. Choose Library. Your hidden user Library folder opens. Look in ~/Library/Group Containers to find the UBF8T346G9 Office folders. Select one and drag it to the Trash to delete.

    Sorry to hear that you’re unable to edit in Word. Could you please provide the following information? What exactly happens when you try to edit? Do you see “Activate Office to Create and Edit,” “Read Only,” or another error message? What are you expecting to resolve by deleting those folders, and where did you find those instructions? Which macOS and Word versions are installed? In Word, select Word > About Word. Have you confirmed that your Microsoft 365 subscription is listed and active here?
