Using the New Outlook for Mac for personal email and calendar
Hi Gavin Mcleod
Based on your description, the Google account is correctly connected through native Google sync with Microsoft Cloud. Events created in Outlook still sync to Google Calendar; however, events created directly in the primary Google Calendar have stopped appearing in Outlook for Mac and Outlook for iOS since July 28, 2026.
Since the incident occurs across multiple Outlook apps, affects only the Google-to-Outlook sync direction, and started without any configuration changes, it may be related to the Microsoft Cloud sync service rather than the local Outlook settings.
