Microsoft 365 Displaying Without Certain Characters On Mobile (Excel, SharePoint, Android)

I can't remember exactly when it started, I would say starting in July of this year, I noticed when viewing my work schedule online (we use 365 to post our weekly schedules), 3 specific characters would disappear, but only when I'm viewing the schedule on my phone. Those are the capital A, and numbers 4 and 6.

I use the same browser on my desktop computer and it displays just fine. This is strictly a mobile issue.

To clarify the issue, here is a snippet of the schedule heading.

Yes, Helen. I apologize for going quiet on you. Busy with life and whatnot, but I meant to get back to you sooner.

The problem apparently went away sometime before or after your response on the 3rd. I don't know if there was an update that happened in the background, but I didn't switch browsers or force an update or reinstall any software. You can mark this as resolved and I'll assume it was a software update issue, maybe Chrome Beta had a minor glitch and the next update fixed it.

Based on the information you provided, I understand that you are trying to view your work schedule on your Android phone; however, the date is not displaying correctly and some characters are not being shown as expected.

For better reproduction of the issue, could you please confirm how the work schedule is being displayed? For example, is it a SharePoint Calendar, a SharePoint List, or another solution?

Could you also let us know which application or browser you are using to access the work schedule on your Android device?

In addition, please provide a screenshot showing how the work schedule is displayed correctly in a browser or on another device (if available). If you are sharing screenshots, please ensure that any personal or sensitive information is hidden/blurred.

It would also be helpful if you could share the model of your Android device and the Android OS version currently installed.

Lastly, please confirm whether your colleagues experience the same behavior or if the issue is only occurring on your device.

Hello.

It is Microsoft Excel 365 on Sharepoint. I am viewing it on both my desktop and my phone using Google Chrome Beta.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, running Android version 15. I have not confirmed whether or not they're having the same issue but I did bring it up at a meeting and no one else said anything about it so I assume it's just me.This is what it should look like, and it looks like this on my desktop.

Hi Harold,

I attempted to reproduce the issue using a Samsung device running Android 16 and Google Chrome Beta, but I was unable to replicate the problem.

Could you please try accessing the site using the standard version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and let me know whether the issue persists? This will help determine whether the behavior is specific to the Chrome Beta browser.
