I am trying to turn on my airpods to the dell computer and I am having a hard time accessing it. It keeps saying bluetooth needs to be turned on but it says that it is turned on so I am not sure why it wouldnt connect.

    Hello,

If Windows says Bluetooth needs to be turned on even though it already is, try these steps:

    1. Do a full shutdown using Shift

    Hold Shift

Click Start > Power > Shut down

Keep holding Shift until the PC powers off

(This forces Windows to reload Bluetooth drivers — a normal restart won’t do this.)

    1. Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters

    Run Bluetooth

    1. Re‑pair the AirPods / AirPods Pro

Remove the AirPods from Bluetooth & devices

Reset the AirPods to factory settings and try pairing again

For the correct reset steps, please refer to Apple’s official support article:

    https://support.apple.com/en-us/118531

    1. If it still won’t turn on

    Your Dell may need:

    A Bluetooth driver update

Or the Bluetooth radio may be disabled by a hardware switch (some Dell models have this)

Use Dell SupportAssist to check updates.
