Running Office 2021 on a Mac OS12 Monterey - can't reactivate perpetual license

I've been running Microsoft Office 2021 with a perpetual licence on a Macbook Pro 2015 running Monterey OS12. Suddenly it has de-activated and I can't edit or save any docs. I can't update my old Mac and it won't let me install the latest version of Office. Can't get through to anyone on the support line either.

What can I do please?

Hi,

I recommend uninstalling Office 2021.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/uninstall-office-for-mac

Check if you are on Mac OS version 12.7.6.

If so, you will install Office 16.89.2 from the link below:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac

Try the installation and log in with the account that has Office 2021.
