I'm currently having an issue using the internal camera, it's blurred and not clear every time i am using my laptop camera to take videos for my presentations. I'm so frustrated as i keep on following different kind of troubleshooting and yet still not fix. I need my internal camera to work and clear. What should I do to fix this camera issues, and it affects work as it progresses.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is when a blurry camera disrupts your presentations and impacts your work progress. To help pin down the exact cause and give you the right fix, could you share a few details?

    • Is there any thin protective plastic film or smudge on the lens?
    • Does your laptop have a physical privacy shutter that might be partially closed?
    • Is the video blurry across all apps or only in specific presentation software?
    • Do you have Windows Studio Effects or any background filters enabled in Windows 11 settings?

Also, what is the manufacturer and model of your computer?

If you prefer, you can share a screenshot of your system information.

    • Press "Windows + R", type msinfo32 and press Enter.

Maximize the window and use the shortcut "Windows + Shift + S" to use the screenshot tool.

Also, perform this quick diagnostic test and tell me the result:

Open the native Windows Camera app (press the Windows key, type "Camera", and open it). Check if the blur occurs there too. Inside the app, click the Gear icon (Settings) and make sure Video quality is set to the highest resolution available.

    Looking forward to your reply.
