Artifact Signing (Trusted Signing) access has been suspended.

Identity Validation status shows as Suspended. I received an official email from Microsoft stating that access to Artifact Signing has been suspended due to administrative, compliance, or policy-related reasons.

All certificate profiles are affected and I cannot sign any files. This is blocking production releases.

Please investigate and reinstate the Identity Validation / restore access to the Artifact Signing service.

If your Trusted Signing Identity Validation status has changed to Suspended, this typically indicates that Microsoft has restricted access due to an administrative, compliance, or policy-related review. Unfortunately, this isn't something that can be resolved through Azure Portal or Azure Key Vault configuration alone.

A few things you can verify:

Confirm there haven't been any recent changes to your organization's legal entity, billing profile, or Microsoft Entra tenant.

Check whether your Azure subscription is active and in good standing.

Review the email you received carefully, as it may include instructions or reference information for the suspension.

Verify the Identity Validation status in the Trusted Signing portal to see if any additional actions are required.

If the status remains Suspended, you'll need to engage Microsoft Support, as only the Trusted Signing team can review the reason for the suspension and reinstate access if appropriate. When opening the support request, include:

Trusted Signing account name

Azure subscription ID

Tenant ID

The timestamp (UTC) when the suspension occurred

A copy of the notification email (with any sensitive information removed)

The impact on your production signing workflow

Since this is blocking production releases, I'd recommend opening a Severity A/B support request (if your support plan allows) so the Trusted Signing team can investigate the backend status of your identity validation.
