It will not accept the login with [REMOVED PII]@yahoo.com which I believe I use for my Office 365 account. The Visio subscription is a different subscription than Office 365. I only want to cancel the Visio account.

    Dear Clifford Huxster,

I understand that you want to cancel only the separate Visio account/plan, but the Yahoo email address used for your Microsoft 365 Home account is not being accepted when you try to sign in.

When you say you want to cancel the “Visio account,” do you mean you have a paid Visio subscription that you want to stop, or do you want to remove Visio account while keeping your Microsoft account?

Visio does not normally have a separate account that can be removed on its own. It is connected to a Microsoft account, so closing that Microsoft account could also affect Office 365 and any other services linked to it. If you only want to stop using Visio and there is no paid subscription, you can simply uninstall the Visio app.

If you have a paid Visio plan and want to cancel it, sign in with the Microsoft account originally used to purchase Visio. Then open Services & subscriptions, find Visio, and select Manage > Cancel subscription.

Also, when you say, “It will not accept the login” what exactly happens after you tried to log in with your Yahoo address? A few more details will help us narrow down the issue better.
