Hello Microsoft Support,

We observed a transient issue on 24 July 2026 at approximately 16:30 IST (11:00 UTC) where users message was not received on bots end in Microsoft Teams bot for a few minutes. The bot was working normally before and after the incident, and no changes were made on our side. Attaching a snippet for your verification.

Since Microsoft mentioned lingering regional stability after MO1437424, could you please confirm:

  • Whether there was any Teams or Bot Framework messaging degradation around that time or any other cause for the message delivery failure

Summary of conversation:

  1. The bot initially asked for confirmation: "Would you like me to proceed, or should I wait?"
  2. After that, the user sent multiple messages (hi, $_$_clearContext_$_$, hi, and /new).
  3. The bot did not respond to any of these messages.

    Hi Niranjana,

Based on the information you've provided, this issue appears to be related to the message delivery path between Microsoft Teams and the bot service during a specific time window. Since the bot was functioning normally before and after the incident, and no configuration changes were made on your side, a backend investigation from Microsoft Support may be required to determine the cause.

Given the nature of the problem, the most effective next step is using your admin credentials to submit a support request through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Microsoft also provides customer service phone numbers based on your region. You can find the appropriate contact number here: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

This route ensures that a Microsoft support engineer can initiate a remote session to investigate backend configurations, run advanced diagnostic tools, and, if necessary, escalate the case to specialized teams with access to internal systems and logs. These backend resources are essential for resolving issues that go beyond what’s visible in the user interface.

As community moderators, we’re here to guide you, but due to privacy and security limitations, we don’t have access to the backend tools required for a full resolution. For this reason, contacting Microsoft Support via the Admin Center is the most secure and efficient way forward.

I hope this helps you resolve the issue quickly. I’m glad to assist and truly hope the information provided has been useful. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you need further assistance.
