I understand how frustrating it is to continue seeing ads when you believed your subscription should provide an ad-free experience. This can happen if the app does not recognize the subscription or if the subscription does not cover the type of ads shown.
To better understand the issue, could you confirm which Microsoft product or app displayed the ads and which subscription was active at the time?
Also, what kind of ads were you seeing: ads displayed within the app, promotional messages from Microsoft, or advertising or junk emails received in your inbox?
